Health Check (Medicaid) provides free health insurance to children from birth through 20 years of age whose families qualify for the program. The program is funded by the federal government, the State of North Carolina and the local county governments.

NC Health Choice for Children (North Carolina’s CHIP) provides free to low-cost health insurance to children from birth to 18 years of age whose families qualify for the program but do not qualify for Medicaid. The program is funded by the federal government and the State of North Carolina.

Coordinators in Robeson County make every effort to ensure that all children in these programs receive regular well child checkups and immunizations.
