The Robeson County Health Department Lab is Accredited by the Commission on Office Lab Accreditation (COLA). The Lab undergoes an inspection by COLA every 2 years as a Moderate Complexity Lab. It is enrolled in a proficiency testing program known as the American Proficiency Institute (API). In house testing is performed in various areas to include: Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology and Microbiology. The lab performs as least 33,000 test annually.
