Pregnancy Testing and Counseling
Pregnancy testing and counseling is available Monday-Friday 8:00 am-9: 15 am except for the first Friday of each month.
Cost is based on income. No appointment is necessary. Family Planning The purpose of the Family Planning program is to enable women and men to plan and space their children in order to improve their own health and the health of their families. Services include a comprehensive medical history assessment, a complete physical examination of the reproductive organs, including screening for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), thyroid problems, cardiovascular disease screening, diabetes screening, pap smear screening, breast cancer screening, education and counseling regarding methods of birth control, preconceptional health, risks and prevention of STDs and HIV, and counseling on how to resist coercive attempts to engage in sexual activities. Vaccinations for rubella and tetanus-diphtheria are given as a part of this service also.
The Family Planning Class is required before being scheduled for clinic. Class schedules vary in order to accommodate a variety of needs.
An appointment is necessary but walk-ins will be accepted based on need.

Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) BCCCP provides screening pap smears, clinical breast exams, and mammograms for women aged 50 to 64. Women aged 18 to 49, who are having symptoms of breast or cervical cancer, may also be seen. Income eligibility is required. Breast self-exam education is provided. Women age 40 and older that are enrolled in BCCCP may also participate in the WiseWoman project. This program provides screening for cardiovascular disease through the following methods: total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood glucose.
Appointments are necessary. This service is free to eligible women.
