Communicable Disease (CD) Clinic

 (formally know as the AM/ STD Clinic)

This is a free clinic that provides evaluations, treatment and preventive education for Sexually Transmitted Diseases.  STD’s include, but are not limited to gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, herpes, genital warts, bacterial vaginosis and trichomonoiasis. 

 

  Facts

Free condoms and health information pamphlets are provided to patients attending the clinic.

 

Robeson/UNC Speciality Clinic

This is a specialty clinic that provides care to persons living  with HIV or the AIDs disease. 

 

Providers

Two providers from Chapel Hill (Physician and Family Nurse Practitioner) come into the clinic each Tuesday and Thursday, to see these patients.

 

Enrollment Requirements

The patient must have a Case Manager and Primary Care Physician before they can be enrolled into the clinic.

 

Syphilis Elimination Program

 Free syphilis blood test, free exams, free preventive treatment, health education classes and safe sex kits are available from this program.
