National Association of County and City Health Officials www.naccho.org/ NACCHO’s website focuses mainly on its membership role of providing employee development, research, technical assistance and support to health departments. Includes an online bookstore, job placement, and political advocacy for public health.

National Library of Medicine (NLM) http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ A substantial gateway site with links to Medline and other databases, to library services, manuals and technical publications, and to medical informatics, news and general information.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) www.nnlm.nlm.nih.gov/ Focuses on the sharing of library materials and on training in the use of the network’s online databases with important links to other federal government resources like Grantsnet, FedWorld, etc.

Public Health Foundation www.phf.org Website supports the Foundation’s mission to assist agencies and community organizations with objective information about understanding public health data and infrastructure, workforce development, and performance improvement.
