National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information The world’s largest resource for information about alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse, NCADI has brochures, videos, CSAP Resource monographs, database and research information plus federal ATD information.

Indiana Prevention Resource Center Provides prevention technical assistance related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Has drug education lesson plans and digital images and clipart for handouts plus links to similar sites.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Deals with the impacts of substance abuse and mental illness and improving treatments for them.


Oncolink’s Smoking, Tobacco, and Cancer Webpage Extensive web resources available on the connection between smoking and cancer including smoking cessation, second-hand smoke, and smoking and kids. Features National Cancer Institute reports.

Tobacco Information and Prevention Service (TIPS) Offers smokers practical guidelines for quitting, has research findings along with educational materials for children and teens, publications and related links. Features the Surgeon General’s Reports on smoking and health plus tobacco industry documents involved in litigation.
